Modtones.com is an internet ringtones service owned by Moderati. It offers hundreds of thousands of ringtones and wallpapers, and is supported by most of the major telecommunications companies.

Handsets which support ModTones include Motorola, Nokia, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Audiovox, Hitachi, Palm, Sharp and Sanyo.

Modtones Ringtones Subscriptions

Modtones Ringtones Charge it directly to your telecommunications carrier. Modtones offers onetime and monthly purchases, which they call "subscriptions". Purchasing a single ringtone generally costs $1.99.

A monthly subscription costs $2.99. This buys 3 downloads per month. Unused downloads do not carry over to the month. If you want to cancel your service, send "Stop Monthly" at 66399.

This site's ringtones section is divided into polyphonic ringtones, songtunes (original songs), celebrity and funny voicetones, alerts and sound effects.

Their ringtones links are a little more customer-friendly than some of the other sites. The main ringtones page has links for new arrivals, best, recent hits, by genre, by decade, theme songs, voice ringtones and Latin garage.

If customers have trouble finding their song, Modtones also offers an internal search engine to search by author or song title. If Modtones doesn't have a song you want, there is a caller ideas link.

Customers can preview ringtones for free. You'll need Real Time Player or Windows Media Player to preview Modtones ring tones.

Modtones ringtones are available through many different providers as of December 2009.

Wallpapers at Modtones

The wallpapers collection includes 30 different genres. These include standard options like sports, music or movies and television. But there are also links to unconventional graphics like the Emily the Strange, French Kitty and Obey Giant series.
