Dada Mobile Ringtones Review

Dada Mobile ringtones offer a variety of ring tones, wallpapers, games and text messages.

Ringtones and Screensavers Available from DadaMobile.com

Dada.netTheir ringtone selection includes both monophonic and polyphonic ringtones, realtones, nombretones, sound effects, celebrity voicetones and Looney Tune soundbites.

Dada's graphics selection doesn't separate itself from the pack. It offers the usual selection of wallpapers and screensavers. They do offer 63 sub-categories of wallpapers, which range from Harry Potter to Public Enemy. There are also unique additions like Naughty Football, which offers pictures of babes in soccer themes.

This site offers about 40 pages of screensavers, which once again covers a whole variety of pop culture phenomena. There are pictures from the upcoming Superman Returns film, as well as cult favorites like Serenity and V For Vendetta. Yet there are pics from more obscure places, such as Godland and Sheepworld.

For those having trouble finding what they want, there is an internal search engine. It targets key words, so you can find either artists or titles.

Subscribing to Dada Mobile

A monthly subscription to Dada Mobile costs $9.99. This provides you with a certain number of tokens per month, which are spent on any of the features offered.

Cingular, Sprint and Verizon users get 40 tokens per month. Ten of these can be spent on "premium" downloads, like Realtones or games. On other sites, these features usually cost more than standard ringtones, so this is not out of line for Dada.

T-Mobile customers recieve 8 tokens per month, which can be used for any download on a one-per-one basis.

The $9.99 price also provides 120 text alerts, so you can choose from their selection of new alert types. Most of these plans offer unlimited text messages from friends and family, and up to ten outgoing messages per day.

The token system might be confusing for some, but I like this kind of plan. Though it costs more than many of the two and three dollar sites, it offers a lot more flexibility. You aren't stuck with a certain kind of tone or graphic.

Dada is supported by most of the major telecommunications companies, including Cingular, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, Alltel and Dobson Cellular Systems.
