Blinko ring tones are offered by an online ringtone service owned by Buongiorno S.P.A., an Italian company. In its archives are over 250,000 downloadable tones, graphics and other applications.

Blinko.com offers services to a variety of countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Russia, Australia, France, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Mexico, Portugal and South Africa.

New visitors to Blinko.com are given the first download free of charge. The top banner on the homepage shows you how to redeem this offer.

A Caveat Regarding Blinko.com

Blinko Ring TonesOne word of warning about Blinko. The company refuses to outline its fees before you subscribe, so it is hard to trust them too much.

Blinko Ring Tones Offerings

Blinko also offers ringtone polls, which determine their customers' favorite ring tones. There is also an e-newsletter and a chat room for Blinko patrons. The newsletter is sent directly to your email address. For those worried about spamming, this feature must be activated by you.

The standard ring tone is the polyphonic version, which is not the original title. These are seperated into the most wanted, latest and style categories. There is also a link to search for ringtones alphabetically, from A to Z.

Blinko Real Tones

Real tones, which are the actual original songs, come in the same categories as the ringtones. Blinko also offers "sounds", which include funny tones, celebrity voice work and sound effects. These can be searched using style or most wanted parameters.

Games, Horoscopes, and More

Blinko also offers other applications for your cellphone. These include java games, such as World Soccer Manager 2006 and BikiniBabes.

They offer a daily horoscope, as well as the "hip hop pulse", which keeps you up to date on the goings on of the hip hop scene.

Also included are the lovelator, prankster, pick up line, George W., sexy trivia, incredible, be happy, be healthy, his and her secrets, says who, the boss and utterly false features.

Most of these features are meant to brighten one's day, or instill facts about dating or sex talk. The prankster option plays inventive pranks on your friends three times per week.

The graphics features on Blinko.com include wallpapers and animations. The wallpapers are broken down in three categories: most wanted, latest additions and ringtones by style. The animations are seperated between the most wanted pics and the picture styles.
